My top priorities for Ward 4 are to stop the hyperscale data centre, help guide and protect affected residents and business through the massive LRT construction, and revitalize our commercial corridors like Kenilworth St.

I live in Crown Point Ward 4 with my spouse and four kids. All four of my kids were born here and go to school here. I love this ward and it's people. I worked in the financial industry for 10 years, including a Toronto-based fintech startup to reduce barriers for lower income individuals to get financial advice. But after missing lots of precious time with my kids and realizing what's really important in life, I decided to change gears to be more present in their lives. In those past 4 years, I've been a local entrepreneur, and I currently serve on the board of directors as the treasurer of a non-profit daycare delivering $10 a day care.
Over this time, I can't help but notice the lack of representation in city hall. We see councillors making unilateral decisions that don't necessarily reflect the will of the residents, or even reasonably reaching out to communicate with residents to weigh in on voting matters. City hall doesn't pay councillors, the people do. This reminded me of an old proverb that says “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.” Well, good is due to the residents of Ward 4, and I have the power to act. I will be an authentic representative for Ward 4. I won't pretend to have all the answers, but I will show up, listen, and follow through. Think of me as your general practitioner – you point to where it hurts, and I bring it to city hall. Let's build a real community and be an example to others that democracy can work as intended.
I'm not here to play politics, I'm here to represent the people.
